One of our primary focal points is Talmud Torah, which we describe as “Learning and Intellectual Engagement”. This includes a wide range of options, from learning about basic Jewish practice to exploring the Torah portion of the week to engaging in inquiry through the reading of challenging theological texts.
Throughout, our learning engages us in ways that increase our ability to act intentionally in building our lives and our spirituality. As we explore, respectfully we challenge each other, our texts and our tradition in order to derive and create meaning for ourselves and our community.
A significant portion of our learning takes place during our gatherings for tefilot; you’ll find descriptions of those opportunities within the listings for each gathering.
Our current ongoing offering, Torah Learning, is described on another page.
