NEED MORE FOOD PROVIDERS: Volunteer Opportunity – PADs Summer Supper

Hi Everyone:

We have had a good response so far, but many of the food donation slots are not yet filled and we need to fill them.

The original post, including the Perfect Potluck link to volunteer to bring food is below.  Please consider helping!

Who wants to get their Tikkun Olam on?  Short on Mitzvot?  Here’s a great way to help:

PADs, an organization that provides assistance, shelter, meals and advocacy for Cook and Lake County’s homeless and at risk residents is holding a dinner event for their clients on Monday, September 19th – B’Chavana has volunteered along with another organization to provide people and food for this event.

The details:

Monday, September 19th
Kingswood United Methodist Church, 401 West Dundee Road in Buffalo Grove
Timing:  Starting at 5:45 PM to about 9:00 PM

We need a combination of both five people volunteers to serve and clean up, about a 3 hour time commitment, and food and beverage items.

Please sign up with this Perfect Potluck link – please note, B’Chavana has committed to fill every slot on this sheet – there will be one more organization doing the same:

Robin and Stew and their family have volunteered for PADs for several years, and are happy to report is one of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities you can find.  We hope you can volunteer to provide your time or provide food or beverages.
